5 Christmas markets in derbyshire 2022
It might be still two months until Christmas Advent official begins but the local Derbyshire Christmas markets will start during November. For those who would like to soak into festive atmosphere earlier here is a list of 11 Christmas Markets in Derbyshire you should not miss!
Christmas at Chatsworth
There are numerous events during the Christmas, all between 5th November until 8th January. You can book tickets for:

and range of single day events such as Nordic print making, tour with tea, children’s woodland wreath making, etc.
This year’s topic is NORDIC WINTER. The Norse god Loki is the main character and traditional Nordic decorations will be displayed around the house. You will need to buy a ticket to experience the magical nordic tour around the house or gardens. However, if you would like to have a stroll around the Christmas stalls, market is FREE event (parking charges applies). You can start shopping Christmas stockings fillers, taste German bratwurst or enjoy warm hot chocolate.
2. Haddon Hall: Mercatum Christmas Artisan Market
Haddon Hall
Set up around Haddon Hall estate garden which is outdoor and some of the rooms inside the Hall. It is a smaller event you might like to attend during long weekends in November and early December (17 November - 4 December). You can browse, shop and enjoy local products such as food, drinks and presents with a festive cosy atmosphere. There is an admission fee of £7.50 which includes parking and children go FREE.
3. Bakewell Christmas Spark
FREE family Christmas market around Bakewell Agricultural Business Centre (ABC) will take place on Sunday 27 November 2022. Over 50 local independent stalls will have marquees outdoors and indoors and local food & drink stalls will be placed outdoors. Kids will love to meet reindeers and they will have an opportunity to take part in Christmas crafting activities.
4. Matlock Christmas Market
Another FREE event in Derbyshire where you can browse over 150 stall at Hall Leys Park Matlock during the weekend 18 - 19 December 2022. You can visit Santa’s grotto, parade, see a fireworks and much more.
5. Buxton Christmas Market
One day Christmas market be held on 10 December at the regular market place - Buxton Market Place.
