Bonfire night in support of MACMILLAN cancer charity 2022

I just have to share some moments from the Charity Bonfire Night - it was such an amazing evening for a good cause. Saddles Bar was a perfect portable bar for this event and was able to serve about 250 people at once - maybe even more. We proved we can do it! Have a look at some highlights from the evening.

Setting up outdoor event in November can be challenging due to the weather. Preparation took several week and actual setting up took a few days (but just bear in mind that everyone has other commitments, if that would be someone’s job it would not take that long). Having a large marquee was great idea to have cover plan if it rains, and also it is a great spot for socialising. Food station was busy serving hot roast pork, hot dogs and burgers. For those feeling cold bonfire was a source of heat and light too. All our guests loved the firework display! Auction and raffle prizes donated by several local businesses contributed largely into a pot of raised money.

Saddles Bar was serving beer on two taps, wines, mulled wine, G&T, Prosecco and non-alcoholic drinks - all customers were happy - especially after consuming the selection of drinks :-)

The hard work was paid off! All the raised money proceed to MacMillan Cancer Support - about £16.000 - which is an amazing achievement. I believe that it was an unforgettable event for both adults and children.
